This time last week, I had 3 hours up my sleeve, and had to experience this on a HOT day! I visited Gellert Baths.
.
Here is what you should be prepared for:
.
📍Hot day = big crowds
📍If you want a massage, plan to book ahead! It was sold out on arrival
📍You MUST wear a bathing suit 😂
📍You MUST wear a sexy swimming cap if you want to swim in the large indoor pool
📍You MUST wear flip flops when walking around
📍Borrow a towel from the hotel to avoid high rental costs
📍Lockers are free with entry - and big enough for a backpack. If you want something larger, let’s say for a suitcase - book a cabin ($3usd extra)
📍All locker areas are CO-ED lol 😂 on arrival I panicked as I thought I entered the men’s bathroom. Within the locker areas there were dedicated men’s and women’s bathrooms & co-ed changing areas
📍Only one outdoor pool was open!
📍There were several indoor pools available at different temps, including a cold plunge (my fav) and sauna/steem room.
📍There is an indoor/outdoor cafe/bar - with food and drinks.
📍Spend an hour or a day - same cost ($32p/p usd aprox)

My little guy chose ‘Anchient Egypt’ not Egypt …. lol - a few months later we explored it together. I love that we get to see this amazing world as a team xo
