We are Bonvoy Titanium Members and typically choose to use our points when traveling. With only one property in Cartagena, our choice was easy!

First impression, very convenient to the airport. After connecting on Copa Airlines via Panama City, it was nice to only have a short 5-minute taxi ride from the airport.

The hotel is located in the old historic city of Cartagena and is walking distance to a variety of popular locations including:

• Walled City of Cartagena

• Castillo San Felipe de Barajas

• Plaza Santo Domingo

• Getsemani Neighborhood

• Cartagena's Beaches

On arrival we were welcomed to the boutique hotel - greeted curbside and taken into the small reception area where were offered coffee or Juice.

TIP: We did find out later, they hotel offers a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel if booked in advance.

Our room was comfortable, with 2 queen beds, and good air-conditioning which is a must. The bathroom was open concept, so if privacy is important to you - this is something to be aware of.

Our room was on the top floor that was a 30 second walk from the roof top pool, or bar area - which offers great views over the ocean at sunset.

Breakfast at the hotel was included as our titanium benefit. It was a local Colombian breakfast, lots of fresh fruits, Juices, pastries, meats & cheeses, and a different assortment of hot Colombian breakfast favorites each day. My favorite was the Iced Coffee, a nice local style that was delicious!

Cartagena’s Old Town is a living, breathing masterpiece, where history, art, and culture come together in the most magical way.

Why had I always dreamed of visiting Colombia?

Colombia is a place where adventure, history, and culture come alive making it a dream destination for many.

Personally, I love visiting destinations that are a little less developed, affordable and exotic. Cartagena spoke to me offering a great blend of culture, history & food - right on the Caribbean coast - it became an obvious place for our family to visit.
